| Premise Visitation
The first step in creating a desirable space is to visit the site.
It is at this initial meeting that the scope of the project will
be discussed. This visit will also serve to analyze your current
setting to determine what will best improve the look and character
of your space. All appropriate measurements will be taken and the
contract will be laid out so the design process can begin as soon
as possible. After this information is gathered and discussed, a
second appointment will be scheduled.
Specification Worksheet
The second step of the design process is to give a scaled presentation
of the project. This will include outlining all environmental qualifications,
paint selections, molding choices, electrical needs, floor covering
options, and wallpaper schemes. At this stage of the design, the
details of actually preparing the space will presented. The parts
of the building or space that are immovable and more permanent will
be decided on, and the stage will be set to add furniture, accessories,
and accents to complete the concept.
Product selections, procurement, and installation
Once the space plan and specification sheet have been created and
implemented, the environment will begin to come to life. Once you
have reached this point, the interior is pulled together with elements
that will evolve into a complete design environment. Purchase orders
are made for goods selected and received for delivery. Your designer
arranges these elements to conform to the plan of the design. Afterwards,
a designer will continue to locate and place accessories to assure
that the design is fine tuned.
